Device id (identifiers) is unchanged; only the display text moves.
test_mqtt baseline updated for that one string.

The add-on is wired to the inverter's RS485 port labelled EMS. Reword
README, DOCS, config description, field guide source and HTML. The HA
manufacturer string is left unchanged: test_mqtt pins it byte for byte.

- The peak limit's Why and plan block need a real power request (floor above
0 W), not a blind or floor-limited guard. An Off battery gets the peak
block only while it gives power. Why no longer says every battery gives.
- test_batteries_screen pins the fixture clock: unpinned it failed every
morning. New checks cover the trade and cycle filters, the blind guard and
an Off battery that A covers alone.
- Settings keeps only a picked view; a link to Installer is not remembered.
- Browser check: badges, unsaved change across views, locked value.

- Batteries: one card per battery with On/Off, the mode list (cheap hours
and selling greyed out until OPT-11 P3), level, and Now / Today / Why
lines built in homeview.py. Replaces the OPT-11 P1 minimal cards and uses
the existing pack_use / pack_mode actions and store keys.
- An Off battery the peak limit still needs says so with its figure; no line
shows 0 W beside moving power (OPT-11 P1 test F2). Today says "Not planned
yet" until OPT-11 P3/P4.
- Home's plan leaves Off batteries out, except for the peak limit.
- Settings opens on Simple: the layout's simple fields with an applies chip
and a note, plus the battery switches and modes. Installer is one tap.
- English and Dutch words in app/ui_text; test_batteries_screen.py; browser
check tools/ux13_browser_check.py (CHECK=1 ux13_screenshots.sh); new and
changed screenshots only.
No control, allocator, arbiter or command module changed.

- app/ui_text/nl.json and app/uitext.py: every page word in Dutch, English
fallback per key; the page picks by browser language. Home's sentences
move into ui_text `home_words`, so /status?lang=nl builds them in Dutch.
- test_ui_text.py: EN/NL key and placeholder parity, STYLE limits, jargon
lists for both languages, no inline details, untranslated Dutch caught.
Shared rules moved unchanged to tools/style_rules.py.
- tools/ux13_screenshots.sh/.py: DOCS screenshots from the demo fixtures in
headless Chromium; docs/img/ux13/. Battery modes (P3): no screenshot.
- "Other time windows": a list editor (ui.periods) that builds
static_profile and names bad times, empty prices, overlaps and gaps.

- DOCS.md / config.yaml: the watchdog's P1 age entity is
sensor.goodwe_p1_sample_age (device "GoodWe" + "P1 sample age", as
app/mqtt.py announces and the live install recorded), not
sensor.p1_sample_age_s.
- DOCS.md: the inverters: example and per-entry table carry the required
bms_soc_floor (and capacity_kwh); config.yaml's schema comment says four
required keys, not three.
- Field guide: marked v0.1.0/outdated; slew_w row no longer recommends the
1000 W that SAFETY-39 now refuses. HTML regenerated; the PDF is NOT
rebuilt (no Chrome here). README/DOCS pointers fixed.
- test_docs.py: the documented roster must pass app/validate.py and the
schema's per-entry keys; the documented entity id must equal the id
composed from app/mqtt.py; the wrong id may appear in no shipped doc.

master is the default branch, which is what the Home Assistant Supervisor
clones - so whatever sits on it runs on a real 5 kW inverter. Until today it
had no branch protection at all, while every gate this repo built sat on
release/1.0, the branch that does not ship. 0.10.1 went straight onto master
on 2026-09-22 with no PR, no CI and no reviewer, and it succeeded.
master now carries the same rule as release/1.0 - enable_push false,
required context `checks / unit (pull_request)`, block_admin_merge_override,
required_approvals 0. That is a forge setting and cannot live in a commit, so
the part that can is this: the procedure it implies. Without it the next
release is attempted the old way and fails confusingly at the push.
docs/RELEASE.md records the path (merge to release/1.0, bump version, PR
release/1.0 -> master, wait for green, merge, then `ha store reload` before
the Supervisor offers anything), the before/after protection state of both
branches, and how the gate was proven to bite rather than merely badge green.
Documentation only - no code, no workflow change.

Platform is identified by characters 6-8 of the serial number, and only
platform 105 (ES/EM/BP - ESU EMU ESA BPS BPU EMJ IJL) speaks the AA55-era
meter bus this product emulates. The reference unit is 95000BPS225W0290 -> BPS.
Everything with a "-20"/G2 suffix is a different platform: SBP G2 (SPB/SPN) and
ES G2 (ESN/ESC) are platform 745, ET/EH/BT are 205/745/753. PV-only inverters
(SDT/DST/MSU/NSU) have no battery to control at all.
Added as the first item in Step 0 of the field guide, because it is a 60-second
check that decides whether the job can be quoted, and as a table in the README.

Rebuilt the guide as something usable on site rather than a document to read
at a desk: strict order of operations, DO / VERIFY / IF NOT blocks per step,
pass-fail gates in a table, a printable sign-off sheet, and troubleshooting
keyed by symptom rather than by subsystem.
Includes real screenshots of the add-on's own Web UI - captured by running it
against stub data - showing the healthy state and the misconfigured one side
by side, because telling those apart at a glance is the single most useful
skill on site. Plus the ESPHome step from a live builder.
The text lives only in docs/build_guide.py, which renders the HTML and drives
headless Chrome to produce the PDF. One source: a Markdown copy would
inevitably drift from the PDF someone is holding in a cellar.
Pagination is enforced, not hoped for. Each section must render under the A4
printable height (1039 px at 96 dpi) or Chrome silently spills it onto a second
page and the page numbers stop matching the step numbers. Measured every
section rather than eyeballing it: the Web UI reference page was 1170 px and is
now 1017 px, and the PDF comes out at exactly one page per section.
